New Features in ServiceNow New York Release

New release of ServiceNow called New York is here and we are going to introduce the major new features and enhancements to you. New York brings hundreds of new details and here are the ones we find most interesting.

Virtual Agent NLU (Nature Language Understanding)

Virtual Agent is a chatbot used to design and build automated conversations that help users quickly obtain information, make decisions, and perform common work tasks.

Some major changes have been made with the New York release that makes Virtual Agent even more powerful and accessible. Virtual Agent can now gather information from common phrases through the usage of natural language understanding and use these phrases to connect users to the right topic, pre-fill answers and create flexible conversations. NLU is already trained to work with more than 40 different conversation types, including IT Customer Service and HR Service Delivery in New York. 

ServiceNow also introduced NLU Model Builder which is part of the ServiceNow Developer Studio and enables you to easily create or modify models without writing any code. It is possible to include a company’s internal vocabulary through the use of additional training sentences and a synonym builder. 

Virtual Agent is also enhanced by a few new integrations, including Facebook Messenger, messaging platform used by millions of people every day.

ServiceNow Mobile App

New York release brings a brand-new app for iOS and Android devices which allows employees to be able to work from wherever they are. With the new app, you can easily manage approvals, orders, open requests, To-Dos or find whatever you need using the global search. 

Mobile Onboarding

New hires are provided with a step-by-step guide that helps them complete necessary pre-hire activities such as selecting a new laptop, reviewing and signing documents or taking a photo for their new employee badge.

Enhancing Employee Self-Service with Now Mobile

This mobile app allows employees to make requests, search for knowledge articles, view the status of requests, find other employees, and complete tasks all from one place.

SAP SuccessFactors Integration

ServiceNow is now integrated with SAP SuccessFactors! ServiceNow and SAP SuccessFactors bring an out-of-the-box integration that synchronizes employee data and to-do tasks between the systems, helping our customers streamline their operations and deliver next-gen HR services that align to the modern needs of employees today.
